Basant Panchmi marks the beginning of the spring season. The festival of spring was traditionally celebrated with full vivacity and joy in ROCK GOLD ACADEMY on 14th February, 2024 under the benevolent stewardship of our honorable Chairman Mr Sunil Goel Ji ,Vice Chairman Mr Shikhar Goel Ji ,Director Mr Priyank Goel Ji and under the dynamic leadership of our honorable Principal Mrs Anita Siwach Ji .
A special assembly was conducted to mark the celebration of this beautiful day. The students delivered speeches and recited poems about the significance of Basant Panchami. Students of Class-VII gave their dance performance. To seek the blessings of divine Goddess of knowledge and wisdom Maa Saraswati, Havan was performed, where students of all the classes participated with utmost devotion and joy. A day dedicated to the yellow colour was marked with children dressed in different hues and tints of yellow. Children were not only beautifully dressed in their favorite yellow dresses but also brought yellow objects to make it a complete “Yellow Day” Tiffin were filled with bananas, jelly, lemons, mangoes, pineapples etc. After having the yellow food students had fun by flying beautiful different colour kites to mark the festival of spring. The worthy Headmistress of the school congratulated everyone on this wonderful festival and guided the students to follow the path of truth increase their knowledge, creativity and spiritual growth. She suggested them to take the lesson of peace and happiness from nature.
