Rock Gold Academy observed National Youth Day on January 12, 2024 to commemorate the birth anniversary of India’s great philosopher and monk Swami Vivekananda.The program was started by the Principal of the school Mrs Anita Siwach ji , by lighting the lamp in front of the Picture of Swami Vivekananda and offering flowers.
A special assembly was organised by Chanakya House to instil the teachings, philosophy and vision of Swami Vivekananda among today’s youth.
Students of classes IX to XII were enlightened about the life and work of Swami Vivekananda, followed by a Poster making presentation to honour his contributions and efforts in empowering the youth and society. The students made beautiful banners to promote rational thinking among the youth of the country and motivate them to be good and responsible citizens.
To inculcate the ideologies and teachings of Swami Vivekananda among the students, class teachers of IX to XII organised Poetry ,Speech Competition for the students. These types Competition portrayed Vivekananda’s ideology, progressive thinking, strength, wisdom and courage. The students enthusiastically participated , which encouraged them to be the creator of their own destiny. The students realised that they must have tremendous perseverance and will in order to attain success. They were not only motivated by his strong character and views but also developed national consciousness as an aspiring youth of tomorrow. The students strived to follow his teachings and principles.
